LODGE MEETING
Arch Druid Bro. p. H. Cotton presided over the fortnightly meeting of the Ivy of Linwood Lodge. There was a very large attendance of members and visitors. Three candidates were initiated. The business of the meeting was quickly disposed of. The ceremony of unveiling Arch Druid's chair and pedestal in honour of past secretary the late Bro. A. E. Palmer, was held. The Arch Druid briefly welcomed the visitors, and called on P.Ci.P. Bro. Bates (senior trustee) to address the meeting. Bro. Bates referred to the faithful work done by Bro. Palmer. GranS Secretary Bro F E. Talbot said that Bro. Palmer was an ideal secretary. Grand President Bro. R. Bigg, who was then called on to perform the unveiling ceremony referred to the interest Bro. Palmer had taken in his work. A short musical evening, arranged by the musician, Bro. G. C. Russell, was presented and was very much appreciated. Supper was served at the close of the function.
