The filtration of the Mount Eden swimming baths was advocated by Mi~ R. J. Mills at a meeting of the Mount Eden Borough Council this week. He contended that experiences elsewhere indicated that the installation of a filter would be a profitable proposition. "I would not have put a dog in the water last week." stated Mr Mills, who said he was obtaining particulars concerning filter systems for the possible advice of the council. Other speakers emphasised the necessity of having pure water, while the heating of the baths was also suggested. Further discussion of the proposals was deferred.
