LONDON'S SHIPPING During the week ended February 8 1211 vessels, representing 888,219 net register tons, used the Port of London. Four hundred and fifty-five vessels (646,043 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 756 vessels (242,176 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included nine meat cargoes—three from Australia, two from New Zealand, one from South America, and three from North America, comprising 387.000 carcases of lamb and mutton, 40,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits, and sundries. The dispute between the waterside workers and the Union Steam Ship Company, which lasted for three days, ended to-day. Members of the Waterside Workers' Union answered the call for labour for the steamer Wingatui. and the motor-ship Hauraki, without making a further demand for sorters to bo employed in loading the vessels. In consequence, cargo work was carried out on both vessels throughout the day. Owing to the delay, the Hauraki's departure for Wellington has been postponed until noon to-morrow, and the Wingatui's departure for southern ports has been postponed until Monday. H.M.A.S. CANBERRA l-I.M.A.S. Canberra, the flagship of the Australian naval squadron, will arrive at Lyttelton from Wellington at 8 o'clock this' morning, and will berth on the east side of No. 2 wharf, bow out. The vessel ..ill be open to the public for inspection between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Railway Department anticipate that several hundred persons vjll travel to Lyttelton, and will run a frequent train service between 12.15 and 6 o'clock.
