RADIO PROGRAMME CHANGES
TO THE EDITOB OP THE PRESS. Sir _l should like to ask why the programme from IYA, advertised for Sunday evening, was not adhered to. As a country listener who had asjred friends to "listen-in" to "Ralph Connor" I found it very disappointing that his name was not even mentioned, and that the broadcast was from quite a different church from that advertised. The programme was definite in at least three newspapers—two Canterbury dailies and one Otago weekly, so surely some apology and explanation is due to listeners.—Yours, etc.,
DISAPPOINTED. Woodbury, March 24, 1935. LThe general manager of: the New Zealand Broadcasting Board, Mr E. C. Hands, to whom the above letter has been referred, says that it is not the board's policy to reply to anonymous correspondents.!
