LABOURER CONVICTED
FALSE PRETENCES AND FORGERY (FUSS ASSOCIATION TBX.BQBAH.) PALMERSTON N., February 5. Michael William Augustus Lynch, a labourer, aged 30 years, was found guilty of obtaining £l3l 13s from Arthur James Anderson, at Feilding, by falsely representing that £520 was due to him from his father's estate, and committing forgery by writing a bogus letter with the intention that it should be ?oted on as genuine, and by sending two telegrams allegedly signed by his sister with the intention that they should be acted on as genuine. Accused was remanded for sentence.
