PAPARUA COUNTY ROADS
TO THE BUITOB OF THE PBBSS. Sir, —I have read with interest the letters that have appeared in your paper with regard to certain of the Paparua county roads. There are some roads in the county which have been laid down in a very efficient manner, but I think a mistake has been made in paving certain of the roads on Which it can hardly be said the traffic would warrant such expenditure. That, of course, is a matter for the discretion of the county council. But the question arises whether some of the roads in the district have not been of more pressing importance for paving than those that have already been done. I think this is a matter which needs serious consideration at the hands of the council.—Yours, etc., RESIDENT. January 28, 1935.
