PRIESTS TRANSFERRED
CHANGES IN ROMAN CATHOLIC PARISHES (SrSCIAL TO TUB I'R«BS.) GREYMOUTH, January 28. The change-over from the Marist Order in the Roman Catholic parish of Reeflon to the secular clergy will take effect aoout the middle of February. The successors to the Rev. Father H. Seymour, S.M., who is transferred to Glenlyon Mission House, Brisbane, and the Rev. Father L. Spring, S.M., whu is transferred to St. Patrick's College, Silverstream, as procurator, will be the Rev. Father John Butler, of Manaia, and the Rev. W. Heaney, Buckle street, Wellington East. Other changes in New Zealand are announced as follows:—Father N. McSherry, S.M.. St. Patrick's College, Silverstream, to St. Patrick's parish, Sydney: Father F. Devlin. Takapau: to charge of the Kaikoura parish; Father M. Brennan, Foxton, to charge of Opunake; Father J. J. Kennedy, Opunake, to Stratford: Father D. J McLaughlin Stratford. to Levin: Father A. Doherty, Eketahuna, to charge of Wairoa; Father V. McGlone, Petone, to Ohakune; Father C. E. Evans, to charge of Foxton; Father E. Sweeney, Ohakune, to charge of Eketahuna.
