THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, Lord Bledisloe, attended by Lieutenant J. C. Elworthy, arrived in Christchurch yesterday morning and is the guest of Sir R. Heaton Rhodes at "Otahuna." Yesterday morning his Excellency attended morning service at the Cathedral, where he read the lessons. In the evening he went to evensong at the Tai Tapu parish church, where he read both ,lessons. Lord Bledisloe will bid farewell to the Duke of Gloucester at Lyttelton this evening, and will then board the steamer express for Wellington.
