NEW PROVISIONS COME INTO / FORCE The general harbour regulation* which came into force on January IT are set out in the latest issue of the New Zealand Gazette. They consist; . of 185 clauses, and revoke all the general regulations in force previously.' These had been made on various occa?e°w re&onfie divided M» 18 sections, which deal ships, dangers, and abstractions, dents and collisions, gangways hatches, the loadii* ships and the coal, vessels in dock or dergoing overhaul or repairs, Hghter*. explosives, the handling of petrol, tfc| qualifications of harbourmasters ana pilots, and several other subjects of «• - general nature. ;
