The Dairy Control Board is about to authorise the exportation of i..000,0001b of butter, in addition to a similar amount, remaining from last year's quota, thus ensuring a retaii price of Is 6d. The National Council of Women affirms that the surplus would be consumed by the home market if the price were reduced. This would enable children to get a proper dietary. Consequently, the council is advocating the abolition of the control board.
