[ • j FIRMS WILLING TO ACCEPT FURTHER DEMAND Willingness to help in overcominl the difficulty caused by the error in the striking of one of the Drainage Board's rates has been intimated to the City Council by city firms. Writ" ing to the Town Clerk (Mr J.. S. Neville), Mr J. I. Royds, managing director of Royds Bros, and Kirk, Ltd., states that his firm is prepared to accept a supplementary demand for the amount necessary. Mr V. E. Hamilton, manager of Mason. Struthers and Company, Ltd.; Mr W. - Heney, manager of Ashby, Bergh and Company, Ltd; and Messrs Duncan, Cotterill and Company, have also written expressing their willingness to accepi a supplementary demand.
