CHRISTIANITY
Te tiif. Eiuiei! nr 1111: rriF.ss. Sir. —I am still in the dark as Io how one may get into touch with Christ. Members of the Oxford movement appear to have dune so, but is there a branch of this group in Christchurch? I have been to church and listened to some excellent sermon;:, but so tar have not been able to make contact, and would appreciate some information regarding the actual procedure necessary to attain the peace of mind and guidance which others claim to have received. No doubt there are thrjusands like myself who are aware of the fact that, simply going to church does not make one a Christian. Most of the? Christian acts I come into contact with are not committed by church-goers, and on Ihe other hand some ot the most strict observers of the Sabbath are rogues at heart. Simply piaying and believing will not do much goorl: this has been demonstrated thousands of times, but. I feel that we are on this earth for ,a purpose, and an active one at that, and if f can be of service in tins respect it. will give me great pleasure Io do so. especially if 1 could be sure of doing the correct things, as others claim to have been guided to rlo. - Yours, etc., HONEST SKEKKR.
