(JRISS ASSOCIATION TELISKAS.: WELLINGTON, November 2& An unsuccessful attempt to dispca of about £ll worth of wool which te admitted having received, knowing it to have been dishonestly to John Henry George Burt, aged 8H being fined £5 in default one month's imprisonment. He also admitted stealing a quantity of petrol valued at ft 6d from cars left unattended at OtaiL and was fined £2 in default ten daj* imprisonment. On a charge of stealing about eig& sacks of wool, valued at about £l at Matapiro, Hastings, he was. remanded to appear at Napier on November 30.
