AMBULANCES STILL FREE
DECISION OF ST. JOHN A-SOCIATION Referring to some remarks made during the proceedings when the status of ambulances was being considered by the No. 8 Transport Licensing Authority on Thursday, the chairman of the St. John Ambulance Association, Dr. J. Restcll Thomas, stated last night that the general committee of the St. John Ambulance Association had not considered making a charge for its invalid transport services, although the service now came under the licensing authority, and that it was the intention of the association to carry on a free service as usual.
