I Th*.- dissected remains of a marine I monster WO feet long and resemb- ! lin& a sen serpent, previously iv ! ported seen in British Columbjj ' I waters, were brought here from near Porcher Island, in the south, by Dr. Neal Carter, director of the Prince Rupert Dominion ILdierus, experimental station. The body is decompo -od, and jt will be impossible to preserve it intact. Its red flesh indicated a .' warm-blooded marine mamma!, its head was shaped somewhat like a horse, its skin was tou.ch and roueji, ! - the upper part of its skin bore hail i and the lower part quills like' spines. There wen 1 no bones of ini- ! portance, except the vertebrae. ; The body will be reconstructed as : fiir as possible.'
