AUSTRALIAN CONVERSION LOAN
•?> OVERSUBSCRIPTION IN LONDON (Received November 21, 11.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 21. The Assistant-Treasurer (Mr R. G. Casey) announced (he oversubscription of the Australian conversion loan of £ 14,002,000 in London. This effects a saving in interest and exchange of £ 125,000. Total conversions (o date arranged by Mr S. M. Bruce (High Commissioner) in London amount to £124,457,000. CASH APPLICANTS RECEIVE SMALL ALLOTMENT (Received November 22, 1.40 a.m.) LONDON, November 21. Conversion applicants in the Commonwealth loan will receive their full allotment, and cash subscribers approximately 9i per cent, of their applications. Small applicants, as usual, are receiving preference.
