CORSAIR CLUB'S EXCURSION TO WEST COAST
Greymouth, Hokitika, and Lake Mahinapua will be visited on the annual outing run by the Christchurch Corsair Social Club, which will start at 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 25. After breakfast a special train will leave at 8.30 a.m. from Greymouth for Hokitika, allowing more than three hours there; hot water will be provided free at Cass square for excursionists. It will also be possible for excursionists to travel 100 miles through South Westland by motor-car, visiting Lake lanthe and Fergusson's avenue, and on to Hari Hari for lunch. The New Brighton Municipal Band will also make the trip and will give concerts at Greymouth and Hokitika. Lake Mahinapua will be left at 4.30 p.m. on the return journey, Hokitika at 5 p.m. ,and Greymouth at 7.40 p.m.
