♦ — FRIDAY (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M.)' DRUNKENNESS Deborah Thompson was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment with hard labour for drunkenness. She had Jien twice previously convicted within the last six months. On a similar charge Alfred James Massey was sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour. He also had been twice previously convicted within the last six months. REMANDED James Cadman Ash worth, a married man, aged 39 (Mr W. F. Tracy), was remanded until Tuesday, November 20, on a charge of breaking and entering the warehouse of Walter Victor Flute al Bromley by night on December 16, 1932, and committing theft. Bail of £IOO was allowed, with one surety of £IOO. Permitting a cyclist to be towed behind a "motor-car: Ronald De Garis Robilliard, ordered to pay costs only. Holding on to motor-car while in motion: Lewin Ronald Webley, or-, dered to pay costs only. Driving a motor-cycle without license: John Charles Yeoman, ss; Thomas Cunningham Reid, 10s; Victor Guilford Sayers, costs only. Cycling at night without light: Athol Stewart T. Barnett, ordered to pay costs only; Ruth Geissler, ss; Herman Hamburger, ss, without costs; Joan Hobden, 2s Cd, without costs; Selma Kerr, IDs; Raymond Rosslter, 10s; Alastair Sams, ss; Kevin Shanks, ss, without costs; William Stevson, 10s; Lawrence White ss; Mollie Bowden, 10s. Driving a motor-car without tail light: Carl Madsen, ordered to pay costs only. Failing to give way: John Millar Allan Moffat. 30s; Tennant Russell Smellie. 30s; Cornelius Fitzgerald, 10s. Driving motor-cycle without warning device; Victor Guilford Sayers, costs only. Using motor-car on which no Insurance premium had been paid: Edward Wood, 10s. Negligently driving motor-car: Leslie Alfred Eliot, 30s; Mary Frances Chapman, 20s; William Percy Warnef, 10s. Dangerous speed on a motor-cycle: Harold George Brown, £2. Assisting in the commission ot offences, negligently driving a motorear, and driving a motor-oar not being a holder of a license: Hubert Edward Elstob, convicted and ordered to pay costs on each charge.
