REMOVING WOOLWICH ARSENAL
SITE ON WEST COAST DESIRED FOR SAFETY (Received November 16, 7.40 p.m.) LONDON, November 15. The "Daily Herald" says that on Cabinet advice the Committee of Imperial Defence has decided to remove the Woolwich Arsenal to the west coast of England. High officials of the War Office ar.-'. the Admiralty are considering sites, and the decision will depend on such matters as the possibility of defending the site from air raids, and on railway and harbour facilities.
