AUSTRALIAN INTERNAL LOAN
OPENING NEXT WEEK CANBERRA, November 15. The new Commonwealth loan of £15,000,000 will open for subscription on November 20. It will close not later than December 3. Of the total, £12,250,000 will be used for public works and for relief and assistance to rural industries, and the balance of £2,750,000 will be used for the redemption of Treasury bills. The nominal rate of interest will be 3 per cent., and the issue price will be £99 15s. The loan will be for a currency of 14 years.
