ROYAL WEDDING
ELABORATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR BROADCAST LONDON, November 14. Elaborate arrangements nave been made for the broadcast commentary on the Duke of Kent's wedding at. Westminster Abbey. Microphones and cables have been installed in a small room in a crypt close to the Unknown Warrior's Tomb, from where a number of carefully concealed microphone circuits will lead to points throughout the whole length of the Abbey from the altar to the bells. Thus each part of the service will be relayed in unbroken sequence, the operator switching over from microphone to microphone. Other commentators will nave microphones on the roof of Westminster Hospital and elsewhere. The British Broadcasting Corporation proposes io record the whole broadcast and file it.
