There were three deaths from tuberculosis in Canterbury last week and one from erysipelas. Nine cases of infectious diseases were notified to the Public Health Department. . On the West Coast there were two cases notified, one each of diphtheria and erysipelas. In Canterbury two of tuberculosis were reported, two of puerperal sepsis, two of food poisoning, and one of erysipelas. Vincent's poisoned grain kills sparrows, rats, and mice. 1/6.
