PRESS CONFERENCE POSTPONED
O ANNOUNCEMENT BY DEAN WALTER WILLIAMS (Received November 11, 7.20 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 10. A message from Columbia, Missouri, says that Dean Walter Williams announced that the Press Conference in Melbourne had been postponed "because of the present world economic conditions and the conflict in dates with the' Empire Press Union." He said the date of the conference would be selected later. His statement added: "It is felt that the exchange situation and general business conditions are such that the postponement of the Melbourne meeting would work to the advantage of the Press Congress and its membership."
