WOMEN'S ORGANISATIONS
TO THE cniTOB or THE PRESS. Sir, —Sometimes I am attracted by the title ("Melbourne Faces"), sometimes by the signature. In dealing with the subtile sex, I see Mr McCormick is endowed with some of the wisdom of the serpent as in the'days of Eden. I would counsel him, and ail my fellow greybeards and baldheads to read Benjamin Kidd's "Science of Power," which will tend to prepare us for "Dcr Tag" which is coming, as soon as woman recognises the power that lies in her hands and starts to use it intelligently. History tells us that most of the great men had some woman counsellor behind him—yes. I know an opposing retort can be made; but in our seance room experiences, we are told that it is "Mother" who will search hell to find her wayward child.—Yours, etc., PETER TROLOVE. November 0. 1934.
