GREYMOUTH PERSONAL (SPICIIL SO THE PEISB.) GREYMOUTH, November 5. Mrs H. Morgan, S.M., has returned to Greymouth from a visit to Christchurch. Cricket The "West Coast Cricket Association's competitions were resumed yesterday in ideal weather. The first century of the season was made by Iggo, a Star player, in the match against Brunner, in which Star gained a two-point win. Iggo (101 not out) and B. Spaan (54) made an excellent stand for Star. R. Spaan, a Star bowler, secured the splendid average of eight wickets for 26 runs in 10 overs. United and Cobden A played a drawn game. United were only three runs short of Cobden's total at stumps. W. Barlow (Cobden) made 53 runs, whilst Heasley batted attractively for United, scoring 65 runs in quick time, his total including several sixes and fours. Heasley, bowling for United, also took five wickets for 38 runs. Cobden B gained a two-point win over Camerons. Sapworth, a Camerons player, made 84 not out. Marist A gained a two-point win overMarist B. E. Casey made 59 for Marist B, whilst J. Mathews took six wickets for 30 runs. Runanga gained a two-point win over Kumara.
