MELBOURNE CENTENARY RACE (DOTTED PBB3S ASSOCIATION—B? BLSCTBIO ifc.I,BUH,UU -COPYRIGHT.) MELBOURNE. October 15. The Colac to Melbourne cycle race, the official Centenary event for amateurs, over 100 miles, attracted 301 starters. The race resulted: H. Chegwih 1, A. Plant 2, F. Beard 3. The fastest time was secured by R. Bradley, 4hrs smin 59scc. The cycle race for professionals over 140 miles resulted: S. Howden 1, S. Andrews 2, H. Guyatt 3. Fastest time went to W. Stewart, the Australian professional road champion, who covered the journey in 6hrs 35min 39sec.
