Ballet dancing and comedy predominate in this production, and there are also several catchy musical numbers. The short subjects include "Sports Thrills," a Cinesound Review, shark fishing, and a ventriloquial novelty. Filling: Reclaimed Area The Harbour Board's dredge Canterbury has commenced pumping spoil into the reclaimed area at Erskine Point to fill up a subsidence which has been caused by the drying and settling of the mud of which the area is composed. The filling in may take a year or more, as the spoil will only be deposited at intervals, and allowed to dry and settle. To enable the Canterbury to reach the area affected a skeleton wharf has been built on the retaining wall, opposite the Shag reef. Hookey Club Dance The annual dance of the Trinity Hockey Club will be held in the Excelsior Hall to-night. The HerdmanFisk orchestra will supply dance music, and novelty dances, have been arranged. Weed-end Fixtures Trinity Hockey Club, Excelsior Hall to-night, annual dance.
