FEDERAL ELECTION IN CHRISTCHURCH
VOTING BY VISITING HOCKET PLAYERS Parr ol the Australian Federal election, which will be held shortly, will be carried out in Christchurch There arrived yesterday in the Australian mail several absentee voting papers for members of the Australian hockey team, which will begin its visit to Christcliurch to-day. Mr J. G. Milner, patron ol the West Australian Hockey Association, who is a member of the official party, is also a justice of the peace, and he has received authority to conduct the Federal election so far as it concern? the Australian hockey team. Under his supervision the voting papers will be distributed, and under his supervision also they will be returned to Australia.
