THE PORT GISBORNE The Commonwealth and Dominion Line's Port Gisborne arrived at Bluff on Tuesday afternoon from Dunedin. She was to leave there yesterday for Timaru to complete discharge and to commence loading. The vessel will later proceed to Oamaru, New Plyi mouth, Wellington and Auckland, sailing from the last-mentioned port finally on September 19 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. NORWEGIAN VESSEL LENGTHENED A "ship-surgery" contract which is ; described as the biggest ever carried out at a Norwegian shipyard, is at 1 present in hand at Trondhiems Mek, Verksted, Trondheim.
