COMMUNITY SINGING RECEIPTS
Interest in the community singing at the Civic Theatre was as great as ever at this week's session held yesterday afternoon. The song leader was Mr Alan Brown, assisted by Mr H. 11 Goodiand at the piano. The receipts totalled £49 16s Bd, made up as follows:—Door receipts, £27 14s 3d; sal# of goods, £l2 4s sd; listeners-in, £9 18s. Contributions came from both, the North and South Islands. The special solo feature on the programme was provided by Messrs J. and C. Campbell, who gave piano and concertina items.
