SITTINGS CONTINUE AT AUCKLAND I THE PIIESS Special Service. 1 AUCKLAND, August 29. Sittings of the Companies Commission are being continued in Auckland. The chairman, Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., and the two members, Professor H. Belshaw, of Auckland, and Mr F. E. Graham, of Christchurch, are still completing the examination of witnesses, while they are also engaged in preparing their final report, which is to be presented to Parliament this session. Mr Barton said it was impossible to give any idea when the report u-ould be completed. The investigation of the affairs of the Investment Executive Trust bf New Zealand, Limited, and its affiliated companies, is being carried on independently by public accountants.
