ASSOCIATION
CANTERBURY TEAM LEAVES FOIt AUCKLAND The Canterbury representative Association football team left last evening for Auckland to play Auckland for the English Football Association trophy on Saturday. The team will return to Christchurch on Tuesday morning. The Canterbury side is as follows: M. B. Mitchell (Thistle), J. Teichert, F. Craggs, G. Smith, and Til. Gordon (Technical Old Boys), W. Wilson (Nomads), W. Thomas (Linwood), S. Cawtheray, W. Ives, A. McMillan, and G. Ellis (Western). Reserve, A. Gordon (Nomads). The manager is Mr H. Weather head. The Auckland team to defend the trophy will be:—Watson, Gerrard, Stone. W. Watson, Wright, Grant, Woods, Dunsmore, Jepson, Farman, and Kay.
