EDUCATION BOARD ELECTIONS

CANDIDATES NOMINATED Nominations for the election of members to represent the respective wards of the Canterbury Education District on the Education Board, closed at 5 p.m. yesterday, at the office of the secretary, Mr C. R. Kirk. In one case—the Timaru urban areavoting will not be necessary, but in all the others a poll will be taken. The election will be held on July 18.
