LEVEL OF LAKE COLERIDGE
Little variation is reported in the level of the water in Lake Coleridge, the report from the power station this week giving it as 1670.4 ft, as contrasted with 1070.425 ft a week ago. On June 1, last year it was at 1670.5 ft, or I.sft below overflow level, 1672 ft.
An interesting advertising folder was produced recently by a fire insurance company in Britain. It has an unusually effective appeal by being impregnated with the strong odour of wet burned wood.
