Richmond-A vonside Company—Miss Evans, 'district captain for East Christchurch, brought one of the patrols from her company to visit the Richmond-Avonside Company. A very enjoyable evening was spent with games, etc. On the same evening Miss Fox (commissioner for East Christchurch) enrolled four guides at tha St. John's Company (captain. Miss Cusack).
Cashmere Pack—The following brownies passed their needlewoman's badge: Helen Parsons and Joyce: Skelton.
Thinking Day Pennies—Donations have been received from St. Saviour's, Sydenham. Levy for Headquarters—All companies who have not paid in their levy are asked to do so as soon as possible. Library—A small library has been opened at the guide office for brownies, guides, and rangers. Books may be borrowed at the rate of 2d each for 14 days. Further particulars are obtainable at the guide office. Badges—Tests for sportswoman badges will be held at Hagley Park to-day, at the Armagh street entrance. All guides are asked to attend at 1 p.m. sharp. Cook's Badge—Full particulars regarding this badge will appear in this column next week.
