RESTRICTION OF FREE PLACES
DISCISSION HY KIM'CATION 150 A KM) The Education Hoard discussed in committee yesterday a communication from the Department of Education concerning the restriction of free places in secondary and technical schools. Mr S. K. K\ isoti gave notice of the following motion: "That this board considers that the time has arrived when the Kducation Department and the Kducation Board should take into consideration the need lor educational provision for young people who are unable to lind work, and urges the Minister for Education to give this matter consideration and to firing it before ihe Government."
