The training committee has held its iirst meeting and have drawn up a preliminary plan lor the formation of a scolders' training club. The club will be run as a troop. Commissioner Fever will act a•" scoutmaster, and the district s-mu' - masters as patrol loaders. The training committee will meet after the troop programme as a court of honou'-. During the lirtt mon'h iende> root ana second-class work will bo dealt with, and afterward- first-class wad-: and camp. It was left in the hands of Commissioner Fcvc to secure a sui'able hall- and also the servic-. of instructors in certain subjects. ,\ weekend camp will probably be held, and also a first-class hike. If was decided to recommend to the executive that in the interests of scout - ing the numbers of a troop should be limited to 18 where there is no assistant scoutmaster.
