FARMER FOUND DEAD
U'RKES ASSOCIATION TILIHiK.) bTRATFORD, March 22. Alfred James Smith, aged 81, a prominent farmer, of Cardiff, was found hanging in the motor shed on his farm to-day. Smith left a note indicating that he was worried about the low price of butter-fat. At the inquest a son said his father was despondent and had to be v atched because of his suicidal tendencies. He was continually complaining of the low price of butter-fat. A verdic was returned by Mr W. L. Kennedy, coroner, of suicide by hanging while depressed ever financitl worries.
