A COMPREHENSIVE TOUR
ITINERARY OF MINISTER TOR EDUCATION The Minister for Education (the Hon. R. Masters), who arrived from Wellington by the Wahine yesterday morning, and who left for Dunedin by train last • night, has embarked on a comprehensive tour of the schools of Otago and Southland. Arriving in Dunedin at 7 o'clock this morning, he will leave an hour later for Milton and Balclutha, where he will officially open additions at the South Otago High School. „,-,., To-morrow he will leave BalcJutna for Invercargill, visiting Clinton, Gore, Mataura, Edendale, and Wyndham. He will be the guest at a luncheon arranged by the Southland Education Board in conjunction with the Southland High Schools' Board, the Technical College Board, and the Invercargill Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, and will meet deputations in the afternoon. Thursday and Friday will be spent visiting country schools, and on Saturday the Minister will proceed to Queenstown. Monday will see him at Wanaka, and he will proceed on Tuesday to Alexandra and will reach Dunedin on Thursday, February 22. On Friday Mr Masters will open the Albany street intermediate school and will reach Christchurch on Saturday, February 24. The Minister will spend Sunday here and on Monday at, 2.30 p.m. he *vill open the Shirley intermediate school. That night, he will return to Wellington by the Wahine.
