The "Daily Express" says the Inli'.ituU' of Electrical Engineers, in } the presence of scientists and wirej less experts, demonstrated a comI plete programme of television from la talkie film. It is believed that when the mass production stage has been reached, the apparatus will be no dearer than a high-ciass gramophone. It will 51 ve in people's homes television broadcasts of talking films, cricket, football, and lawn tennis matches, racing, and social events.
