CATHOLIC DRAMA SOCIETY
THREE ONE-ACT PLAYS The recently-formed Catholic Drama Society has lost no time in following up its successful production of the Irish comedy, "Katie, Will You Marry Me?" and an excellent programme of one-act plays has been arranged for to-night. The versatility of the players will be put to the test on this occasion, as the programme offers entertainment of an entirely varied character. That this young organisation is making rapid progress is evidenced by the fact that altogether more than 30 performers 'will be engaged in the productions. The plays selected all promise interesting entertainment. "The Bride" has now been successfully produced by most of the leading societies. "100 Not Out" is a delightful up-to-the-minute comedy with a "laugh in every line," and "Waterloo" is a fine drama which has rarely been produced in New Zealand. Not the least interesting feature of the programme will be the musical selections to be played by the society's orchestra. With a previous outstanding success to its credit the society should be assured of a packed house, and the fact that the funds are to be given to the Sisters of the Mission should attract universal support. Bookings are now being received at O'Connor's Depot. VISITORS TO HOLIDAY RESORTS Wembley Rest House, Hannicr Springs: Mr ;md Mrs Baker (.South Australia), Rev. \V. R.
