AVONSIDE ORCHESTRA
The Avonside orchestra, of 35 performers, will present its third concert ill the Avonside Parish Hall at 8 p.m. on Tuesday next, February 13, under the conductorship of Mr Ralph Lilly. The programme consists of many wellknown orchestral pieces, amongst which will be "Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld," "Faust Ballet Music," and "In a Chinese Temple Garden." instrumental solos will also be given by Mr Alex Munro (violinist), Mr Eoulston Smith (harpist), Mr Charles Munro ('cellist), and a cornet duet by Messrs Fred and Herbert Fox. Mr Bernard Rennell will be the vocalist for the evening. Tickets are obtainable from R. W. Smith, bookseller, 184 A Armagh street, City.
