INTEREST RATE IN CANADA
MAXIMUM TO BE FIXED AT 7 PER CENT. (Received February 8, 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA, February 7. The Banking Amendment Bill introduced in the House of Commons stipulates 7 per cent, as the maximum interest rate for loans.
