NEW THEATRE LIKELY AT GREYMOUTH
♦ ESTIMATED COST OF *17,500 tSPtXIJU. TO 'J'HE ruESs.i GREYMOUTH, February 8. It js understood that the building of a new theatre for Greymouth, at an estimated cost of £17,500, will shortly be commenced. A company to be known as Greymouth Enterprises, Ltd., will be formed. The site for the building is at the corner of Mackay and Herbert streets, and a sketch of the proposed theatre is being prepared by Mr H. Francis Willis, of Christchurch. In addition to a modern theatre equipped for stage and talking pictures, the building will contain a cabaret, a motor showroom, shops, and offices.
