Results:—A. Sams (scr) 3. B. Rice (lmin) 2, G. Rowlands (lmin) 3, W. Moses (lmin) 4, A. Porter (scr) 5. Sams secured fastest: time, 36min 40sec. Fourteen ridors competed. All the riders finished together. The handicaps have been declared for the 40 miley novice ruce to be conducted by the club to-morrow. The race will start ut the Bower Hotel at 2 p.m., and will go to I Woodend via Marshland and return to Brighton, finishing r{- the Bower lIoM. Handicaps are:—A. Sams.'A. Porter, B. Rice. C.
