HOLY SWORD OF THE CZARS

FAMOUS RELIC POUND IN LENINGRAD WARSAW, February 6. The missing Holy Sword of th« Czars was discovered built into a wall of the Winter Palace at Leningrad. The sword is as old as Romanoff history. It is a marvellously worked Cossack sabre, the pommell is embedded with 36 large diamonds, each commemorating a famous victory. The sword was usually part of the Crown jewels, from which it was missing after the revolution. It was accidentally discovered during repairs to the wall. A card attached to the sword read, "The Holy Sword shall not fall into the hands of the enemy."
