SOCIAL AND PERSONAL Information has been received that Miss Leila Greig, of Timaru, violinist, has been granted a fellowship of Trinity College, London. The degree has been granted once previously in Dunedin. Miss Theresa Ward (Christchurch), who has been staying at Stewart Island, is the guest of Miss Dorothy Walton (Park lane). Miss Grantham (England), who has been the guest of Mrs G. E. G £bites (Wai-iti road), has left for the North Isldnd Miss Margery Jones (Otiritiri) is staying at the Tasman Glacier with Miss Kate Gardiner, the English alpine Mr „ Fea (Elizabeth street) have returned home after spending a holiday at Karitane. Mrs J. G. Nolan (Gisborne) is the guest of her aunts, the Misses Woollcombe (Trafalgar street). Mrs G. Marshall, who was staying with her sister. Mrs G. Hart (Wai-iti road), has returned to Christchurch. Miss Grace Manchester (Kitchener square) has returned from a trip to the North Island. Mrs A. L. Marshall and family (Beverley road) have returned from Hae-te-Moana. Miss Hazel Arras (Glen-iti) is staying with Miss Doris Barwood (Fairlie). Mrs G. W. Morrison (Le Cren's terrace) is at present visiting Christchurch.
