Mr and Mrs Martin, formerly of Wellington, have been here for V'hree years. It has been their regular s rac " ij'ce to purchase a ticket. On the , last occasion Mrs Martin went into town 011 the date of the- closing of the ',art union, and as she did not have ;4:y money, another person secured tA e ticket, for which she paid three inter.

The couple were overjoyed wheit told by a reporter of their good fortune.
