ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION
♦ REPORT OF RECENT ACTIVITIES! A meeting of the general committee' of the Canterbury and West Coast Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association was held last evening, Dr J. Restell Thomas presiding. The invalid transport report indicated that during November of 1933, 349 calls were received, these involving the ambulances in travelling 3341 miles. The cost of that work was £IBO 19s 9d. Against that amount 28" donations had been received, the sum totalling £7 lis. For December the fig--332 = mileage. 3341; cost £IBO 18s 6d, donations 32, for a total of £8 19s 6d. It was reported that in November, 1932, 331 calls were received, and in December of that year
