KIRK-WINDEYER CUP PLAYERS IN VIEW (PRESS IKLEGHAII.) WELLINGTON, February 7. The New Zealand Golf Council lias decided that the Kirk-Windeyer contest v/ill be played at Middicmort after the Auckland provincial championships at Titirangi, which conclude on April 3. The date is riot fixed, but ill the team must leave bv the boat o£ April 6, the match w'lll be played at once, otherwise there will be some days for practice, the next boat being on April 16. The New South Wales Golf Council is being written to to this effect and asked to reply by cablegram. The council resolved to write to H. A. Black, J. P. Hernabrook, T. H. Horton, B. M. Silk, and B. V. Wright asking if they will be available. Letters were read asking for the venue of the next New Zealand championships, and it was agreed to make further enquiries and to endeavour to come to a definite decision at the March meeting. It was resolved that Messrs A. D. S. Duncan and W. A. Kiely act as a subcommittee to go through the \vhol|> of the forms returned and fix-new standaid scratch scores in accordance with tne amended system. AYONDALE LADIES' CLUB Officers for the Avondale Ladies' Golf Club for the ensuing season wer« elected at the annual meeting of th« club on Monday evening as follows: — Captain, Miss P. Ellwood; secretary, Miss I. A. Maindonald; committee, Mrs W. J. Owens, Misses E. L. Sapsford, M. Johnston, and M. Lockwood; representatives on the general committee, Messrs J, Martin and A.
